![]() Android users are encouraged to purchase the in-app advertising for this version to unlock the full potential of their device. In short, the iPhone version of Bad Piggies has less gameplay and is more like an entertaining video game than a platform for online multiplayer racing with real people. Two more are unlocked when you get three stars on the 9 bonus levels of each of these themes. The free "Advertising" app allows users to take an endless number of photo bursts while the in-game characters' race against time to reach the final level of each attraction. Two Sand-Box levels are unlocked after completing the 36 original levels of Ground Hog Day and When Pigs Fly. On the other hand, Android offers a very clean and uncluttered experience with its Material Design layout, which looks much more upscale and sophisticated than the ugly default look of rovio. In contrast, the iPhone version of Bad Piggies offers a very solid game play and very easy-to-use controls, making it easier for fans of the genre to enjoy. The quality of graphics and audio on both the iPhone and Android devices are quite comparable, though the former tends to have better sound effects and a larger background image (as seen on many movies, especially action-adventures). ![]() Although Android has the advantage over iOS when it comes to multitasking and having a larger memory, the iPhone's bigger size and multi-touch interface make Android's gameplay less fun to play. ![]() The Bad Piggies game was originally developed for the iPhone and iPad, but it was later port to the popular mobile operating systems Android and Apple iOS. There are also some secrets for the players who want to find out how the game really works, like a rotating globe and a bouncing egg that will destroy any enemy or obstacle on screen. The controls work in a very simple way, where you use the mouse to guide your pig up, use the space bar to drop them (they'll return to their starting position after use) and use the zooming arrow keys to zoom in and out. The goal of the game is, of course, to build a tower from the various objects given at the beginning of every level that will enable the pigs to move up and reach other positions on the screen. We won’t complain, as we simply loved Bad Piggies in our review and look forward to even more expansions like today’s in the future.Bad Piggies is an amazing mixture of arcade games and physics-based platform where you manipulate the evil green, bad pigs from the classic version of Angry Birds, who now becomes the newest stars in this newest adventure by Rovio. Expect Rovio to keep on churning out the updates for Bad Piggies as long as it continues to ride the top of the charts, just as they’ve done with that certain bird game. It’ll set you back $2.99 if you want to get in on the Field of Dreams Sandbox, but it sounds like it has endless possibilities.Īlso, as you’ve probably noticed by the screenshot above, Bad Piggies now supports the widescreen on the iPhone 5 and new iPod touch, which is always a welcome improvement in my book. Basically, it’s the biggest Sandbox level yet and it lets you go nuts creating whatever kind of contraption you want with over 300 different parts. ![]() In addition to the new levels, there’s a new Sandbox level available for purchase called the Field of Dreams. Of course, there’s also teasers for two more 15 level sets coming to Flight in the Night, so expect that at some point as well. The new level pack is called Flight in the Night, and has a slick new moonlit theme. I think it was done by the same people who made Angered Burt, but I’m not sure.Īnyway, if you happened to have heard of Bad Piggies (Free) then you may be interested to know that a new update was just released for the game, and adds 15 brand new levels for you to play through.
